• Open the umbrella pointing downwards, lift the ribs slightly and slide the umbrella open;
• Never leave the umbrella wet and creased up;
• When dry, furl the umbrella carefully;
• Avoid allowing water on the underside of the umbrella and closing it;
• Avoid exposure to sources of heat or direct sunlight.
