Made by hand in Italy using century-old techniques that have been passed down from generations, crafted from the finest leathers of the most beautiful section of each skin, these natural and living materials require and deserve your care and attention.

  • Never add rubber soles to your shoes, they destroy the shoes’ pitch and balance;
  • Regularly replace your heel tips before they run too low;
  • Avoid contact with solvent, oil and abrasive surfaces;
  • Avoid humidity, rain and exposure to direct sources of heat or sunlight;
  • Keep the leather area clean and dry, occasionally nourish with specialist colourless lotion;
  • Should the product is wet, dry gently with a soft, neutral-coloured, absorbent, non-fluffy cloth;
  • Heels and accessories with precious finishes such as gold leaf and/or lacquer can be cleaned with distilled water and dried as per above;
  • Endeavour not to wear your shoes on consecutive days to allow the leather fibres to rest;
  • For exotic skins, because of the delicate and precious nature of the material, they must be protected from humidity, water spray and rain. Avoid contact with water, alcohol-based solutions, and exposure to direct sunlight;
  • To preserve the original shape of the shoes, store with shapers after each use in the SAUVEREIGN protective bags and boxes, away from other leathers or pigmented colours to avoid colour migration.
